Get involved in our newest outreach ministry: the Grace Church and Liberty Elementary Schools Partnership, "Planting the Seeds of Nutrition, One Student at a Time." The program begins Wednesday, June 9. Come join us any Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 for a Healthy Kids Program, Supper, and lots of fun!
RADICAL WELCOME
Radical Welcome Task Force
Help implement ways for Grace to be more radically welcoming & ways to better incorporate visitors & new members into the life of the parish.
Sunday Morning Experience
Bakers- Bake bread and cookies that are taken to visitors.
Sunday Greeter- Warmly welcome people & help them to feel at home.
Coffee Hour Welcomers-Invite visitors & introduce them to members.
Delivery-Prepare & deliver Welcome Bags to visitors on Sunday after church.
Evangelism
Serve on a committee that focuses on inviting people to visit Grace.
Membership Incorporation
Brunches– Help with Sunday Welcome brunches at the Rector’s home.
Write Notes-Send notes to visitors.
Telephone-Call visitors.
Gifts Discernment-Help members identify their ministry gifts.
Integrity - Grace, Liberty
Work for full inclusion of GLBT persons in the church and the world.
Social events, advocacy and education.
ADULT EDUCATION
Help plan and implement educational programs for adults including Sunday Adult Forums, Adult Ed series, Inquirer’s Classes, Bible studies, confirmation preparation, and other educational programs for adults.
COMMUNICATIONS
Logo Development
Publicity-Write press releases & articles about Grace activities & ministries.
Amazing Grace Newsletter Ministry-Help edit, write articles, and/or provide photographs for our newsletter.
Web Site-Help make Grace’s web site fantastic!

Brochure Development
WORSHIP
Altar Guild-Teams prepare the Altar for Sunday and, after each service, clean the vessels. Serve about 2 weeks every 6-8 weeks. Training provided.
Lector/Intercessor-Read the lessons & lead the prayers at the Eucharist.
Licensed Eucharistic Minister- Members 16 & older administer the chalice.
Licensed Eucharistic Visitor- Take Communion to sick and shut-ins after Sunday Eucharist.
Acolyte Corps Ministry- Children 5th grade & older who wish to serve at the Eucharist.
CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRIES
Sonshine Academy- Teach Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:00.

Grace’s Grocery: a Holy Owned Subsidiary of God’s Love
Franklin Friends & Nourishing Neighbors Feeding Ministries- These ministries provide food for children at Franklin Elementary School and for homebound elderly persons.

Grace's Garden: An Urban Farm
"Planting the Seeds of Nutrition, One Student at a Time" -- a partnership between Grace Church and the Liberty School District to promote healthy eating habits while providing students with hands-on learning about gardening, nutrition, and cooking in a fun environment! For elementary age school children and their families.
Rag Dolls 2 Love Outreach Ministry-The people who participate in this ministry make adorable rag dolls for children in need locally and globally.
Stitched with Love & Prayer Outreach Ministry-The people who participate in this ministry knit beautiful prayer shawls for people who are in any kind of need, sickness, or adversity.

STEWARDSHIP MINISTRIES
This group focuses on ways for us as individuals and as a faith community to become better stewards of all that we are, of all that we have, of this fragile earth our island home, and of all God’s creatures great and small.
Parish Wellness Ministry-All Health Care Professional are invited to help provide Parish Wellness programs for Grace members. This ministry may expand beyond the parish.
Lay Pastoral Care Ministry-Serve on a lay pastoral care team. Training is provided.
Environment- Continue to explore ways for us to be better stewards of God’s earth.
Urban Farm Ministry- Work on the Urban Farm at Grace
Garden Care Ministry-Care for Grace’s newly planted gardens.
Greening Grace’s Building-Implement ways to "green" Grace’s building & reduce our carbon footprint.
