Children and Youth

 CHRISTMAS PAGEANT, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 23 AT 10:15 AM
 
 
Luke 18:15-16
"People were bringing even infants to Jesus that he might touch them; and when the disciples saw it, they sternly ordered them not to do it. But Jesus called for them and said, 'Let the children come to me and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.'" 
 
 
Sonshine Academy, Grace Church's program for educational and spiritual formation for children and youth, meets from 9:00-10:00 a.m. September through May. 

Classes
The Nursery, for children up to age 4, is staffed by Verna Morgan. 
 
The Lower Division is for children in Preschool through 5th Grade. The Lower Division Coordinator is Tina Myers who is assisted by Andreea Chiselita and Lesli Hayter. The curriculum is Weaving God's Promises: Weaving Our Faith. Preschoolers are accompanied during classes by a parent. 
 
Senior Division Youth, 6th through 12th graders meet with Father John McCann, Mary Wade, and Tim Meschede and also use Weaving God's Promises: Weaving Our Faith.
 
 
Nursery Care is provided from 9:00-11:30 am on Sunday for ages birth to four years old.
