Music at Grace Episcopal Church, Liberty

Music plays a vital role in the life of Grace Church. The choir and bell choir provide musical leadership during worship services. Adults and youth all share their musical gifts leading the congregational hymns and service music along with providing anthems of many styles choral genres and musical periods.

Grace Church Choir

Rehearsals: Sundays 8:45 -10:00 a.m.

The Grace Church Choir sings for the 10:15 a.m. Sunday morning liturgy and many feast day services. The ensemble also sings for special services including Thanksgiving and Lessons and Carols. Membership is open to all high school and college students and adults who feel a calling to this ministry. Basic musical literacy is recommended. The choir sings from the end of August through May and non-Episcopalians are welcome.

Grace Church Handbell Choir

Rehearsals: Sundays 11:30 a.m.-12:15

Grace Church’s handbell choir meets once a week and typically plays for one service each month and is open to both beginning and experienced ringers. Grace currently maintains a three-octave set of Schulmerick Handbells, two octaves of which were graciously donated by parish member, Cherri Glenn.
